MASKED EXISTENCE, Vol. 3 has been sitting with me for a bit, and “CLAIM IT ALL” is the one I keep going back to. It’s built around this industrial-leaning modern metal sound that feels genuinely claustrophobic in the best way. The mix is tight and deliberate, like the production itself is part of the point.
The song is about control and manipulation, specifically the feeling of having your identity slowly rewritten by external pressure. There’s a recurring motif of an infection whispering a name, and the song’s arrangement actually mirrors it rather than just riding alongside the lyrics. Tension stacks steadily and you feel it accumulating before the track finally opens up. When the line “You forged the cage, now watch it fall / Every second, I reclaim it all” lands, you’ve already been set up for it by everything that came before.
The riffs are consistent without being repetitive. That’s harder to pull off than it sounds, especially over a song this dense and the vocals don’t oversell anything either, and that restraint is what makes the payoff actually land rather than feeling like a forced climax.
