Lily Clark Javi Carabalí’s “La Situación” is a burst of Latin artistry and I can’t help but marvel at how seamlessly he blends reggae rhythms, pop hooks, and even a hint of Spanish rock into the song and yet it still feels so new and yet so timeless. This song is full of energy and confidence, and it is a perfect example of Javi’s skills as a composer, producer, and performer who does not think in terms of genres.
