Lily Clark Mad Painter’s “Debt Collector” is an exhilarating trip through 1970s blues-rock nostalgia with a fresh, modern edge; I found myself bobbing my head to the Hammond organ and the guitar work while enveloped in the classic yet contemporary sound. The band is clearly influenced by bands such as Deep Purple and Alice Cooper, but they have managed to create their own unique sound with humorous lyrics and a clean sound.
