Bleach Dreamer gets it right with “Paradise Cove”, it opens with a beat that immediately pulls you in, and then these synth layers start building until you’re completely wrapped up in the sound.You can hear it in the synths and the rhythm, but this isn’t some nostalgia play.
Bleach Dreamer takes those elements and makes them feel fresh. I like how the song captures being caught between two feelings: wanting to hold onto a moment and knowing you probably can’t. That tension runs all the way from the production to the lyrics. Since Bleach Dreamer handled every part of the process (writing, producing, mixing, engineering) the whole thing has a unified vision that’s hard to miss.
This is a great song for driving around past midnight when your brain won’t shut off and you’re trying to make sense of your week. If the rest of the EP coming January 9th sounds anything like this, it’s going to be worth the wait.
