Finding fresh rock tracks that actually connect on a human level feels increasingly tough these days. Liverpool four-piece rock group RISE manages to break clean through the noise with their latest single release. Written by Paul Kinley, the song deals with the heavy reality of losing their original singer Steve Kinley back in 2022.

Sam Kinley’s delivery here is absolute magic from start to finish, he is a talented artist. Every single line carries genuine emotional weight, supported by vocal harmonies pushed high in the mix to keep the raw expression right up front, and guitarist Brian Petch matches that intensity with intricate fretwork that anchors the entire musical arrangement.

Recorded over at Whitewood Studios in Liverpool and co-produced by Rob Whiteley alongside Paul Kinley, the audio quality feels warm and natural. You can easily tell they took their time getting the mix sitting just right on the record. The chemistry sounds completely organic, built on years of shared stages and countless live gigs.

Knowing the band is already back in the studio working hard toward a brand new EP planned for early next year gives plenty of solid reason to keep paying close attention to their journey. They have built a distinct and recognizable identity over the years, and this release proves they are only getting better at what they do.
