The song opens with a dark, slow-burn intro then snaps into a nasty psychedelic funk groove, and Skerik’s sax cuts loose against Joshua’s angular guitar work, Delvon Lamarr brings the heat on organ, and Grant Schroff locks down the drums without getting in anyone’s way. These four Pacific Northwest players recorded it live at Studio Soli, and you can tell they’re feeding off each other the whole time. It’s a proper jam session that doesn’t mess around.
