LED’s sophomore single “Goodbye Eric” hits hard right from the start. This LA trio knows how to write a hook, and they’re not shy about it. Layne Olivia, Lockett Pentz, and Edie Yvonne have been grinding since they met at film camp, and you can hear that chemistry throughout the entire track.
The guitars are crunchy, the drums punch through nicely, and the vocals have just enough bite to keep you engaged. Eric, clearly left an impression because this farewell packs some real emotion behind the distorted guitars.
You can tell these three have been putting in work since their debut. The production is tight, the performances are amazing, and the song structure keeps things interesting without getting too experimental. If this is where LED is heading, their upcoming single “Hot Mess” should be worth keeping an eye out for.
