SEEDR’s second single arrives as a reminder that sometimes the best way forward is to stop moving altogether. “Settle” combines her airy vocals with liquid drum and bass in a way that actually makes sense, which isn’t always easy to pull off.
The track starts with those atmospheric synths that immediately put you somewhere else entirely. Her voice sits on top like it belongs there, never fighting for space with the beat. When that aggressive breakdown hits, it feels earned rather than thrown in for shock value.
SEEDR and producer Noams have figured out how to make something that sounds cinematic without being overly dramatic. The whole thing flows naturally from quiet moments into more intense sections and back again. You can hear influences from artists like Portishead creeping in, but she’s not copying anyone.
