I put on this new album expecting a simple pop record, but ERICKOSCAR brings a lot of fun styles to his music. The nine songs shift smoothly between easy pop beats, soft ballads, and lively bachata dance rhythms. That mix keeps the whole album feeling fresh from start to finish.
The title track sets a great mood right away. Its light acoustic guitar sound caught my attention fast, mixing tropical beats with a sweet melody that stays in your head. On top of the catchy tunes, the lyrics feel real and true to life. Songs like “Say What I Feel (Even If I Forget)” and “Te Voy a Tirar La Chancleta” show two totally different sides of his personality. One song feels calm and deep, while the other is full of jokes and high energy.
Hearing both the pop take and the bachata take of “Más De Lo Que Tú Crees” shows how well he fits into both genres. Nothing here sounds fake or forced. You just get nine open songs that feel like listening to a good friend tell his real life story. It is a wonderful indie record to play on a night drive when you want nice music and honest lyrics.
