That moment turned into a funny, sharp critique of modern dating standards and our weird obsession with superficial perfection. It’s a great song that will catch your attention from the first seconds.
The band sounds insanely tight across the whole track. Peter Marin keeps the drums locked in, while Kit Riley’s bassline gives the verse a heavy, satisfying pulse. James Ryan lands some brilliant guitar licks that bring plenty of raw energy into the chorus. Simon Moro mixed the session down at The Avenue in Cheltenham, and he let the natural grit of the group take center stage.
Jason’s vocals carry an authentic mix of humor and frustration. He tackles modern status anxiety head-on, delivering every line with a raspy tone that feels genuine. It feels like a massive step forward for the band as they prepare to head over for UK and European summer festival dates.
